I have over 1.000 hours without shoes. 45 days. Here are some pics of all time. Now, I think I'm ready for things stronger. Soon there will be surprises

45 days? Wow, time flies!

What are your experiences during all this time? How do you feel your feet have changed, adapted to different kind of terrains, textures and temperatures?

It's an excellent update, it's wonderful to see how your feet have adapted, how your soles have toughened up. You took the right decision Cecilia, there's no way back!

Regards

About 45 days without shoes (now some day more...) Very very good !

How do you feel your feet : you notice that are stronger and tougher (on hard surface ) ?

Are you continuing to train over gravel/rock path ?

Here a link (maybe you already know...) :

http://www.flickr.com/photos/barefoot_1234/

with photos of people (some of them woman) that do not wear shoes all the life, from the born,as is possible to see they have "iron" soles, completely covered by a thick callous, also the arch is callused...

thanks for your encouragement. I have not training in the gravel and stones because the place is not very close to my house and these days I've been pretty busy. But I'm walking on the asphalt. These days in Madrid is very hot, we have up to 38 degrees ...
