Hi everybody!
Today I want to tell you about changes in my life.

As you know, I live in Russia. But soon, in the end of august, I will go to Spain in beautiful town of Barcelona. I will live and study there during 10 months, and may be then I will stay there if I will like =)

What for my study – I will learn Spanish in languages school. It is very intensive course: 5 days per week and 4 hours per day.

So now I’m busy with preparations and finishing repairs of my flat. You can understand how little time I have =)
And I don’t know but may be in the beginning of my life in Barcelona I will take a little pause and will don’t update my diary cause I don’t know how it will be with internet and time there. But of course any way I will say you about this pause if she will be =)
Hope you will be with me and don’t forget your barefoot girl =)

So, Pierre and other boys from Italy and Europe will be nearer to me =)

Dear Polina

All the best for you in this new life, it's wonderful you are going to learn a new language and live in a different place, learn about other culture. I am sure this adventure and experience wil be very valuable for you and useful too, it will broaden your view of the world and people and will give you better job opportunities too.

Of course we do understand that settling down will be hard and that you might not have enough time to keep your diary updated as much as you'd love too. I am sure you will find Internet access where you live, and that you will be very happy in Spain, in warmer weather :-) Maybe there will even be a chance that you meet Cecilia in person, wouldn't that be wonderful?

Will you do the whole trip from Russia to Spain barefoot? Will you dare to put your shoes in the baggage and arrive barefoot to Spain? That would be amazing! Hope you can do it.

I am sure that living in Spain, the warmer weather, will allow you to be barefoot for more extended periods of time. Will you attend barefoot to your classes, be barefoot at campus?

Take care on you Polina and thanks for everything, I am sure you will post news soon again.

Cheers

DG

Yesterday I had little time to wish you a pleasant stay in Barcelona.
I am happy with your new life: Spanish is very similar to Italian, and we understand each other better. Barcelona is then little more than an hour's flight from my city.
Of course do not forget you , if you want to continue to have a friend in Italy.

I see many positive things for you :

- you will continue a new type of study, know other people with a bit diffent culture, and at the end of the study, probably, you will have some more probability to find a good work

- in 10 month you will learn spanish language quite well

- in spain the weather is warmer than russia,so you should go barefeet for more time douring the winter...

- of sure you will find easily an internet connection,so you should remain in contact with this forum also from spain

For end : go to study and try a way of live in other country is a possibility that not all young people have, use it as best you can and find the best way of live you can...

GOOD LUCK for all (barefeet or also with shoes),hoping to continue to have your news..

Hi boys!
Thank you for your kind words and caring for me =)

DG, I was thinking about meeting Cecilia in Spain =) May be one day we will meet and will have walk and photo session together =)
I don’t know while about barefoot trip caz the weather in Russia becomes bad again and I’ll go to Moscow airport in night caz we have morning flight.
If in my language school they will not be against I’ll be barefoot of course =)

Pierre, do you know Tovarish Lenin? =) Cool =)
Sure I wanna have friends in Italy and in other countries too =)
I know that Spanish language and Italian are similar, but I don’t know – if I will speak Spanish will you understand me enough or just some of my speech? =)

Clipper, yes, I see these great possibilities and “+” for me =) So I’m glad a lot =)
It will be really wonderful!
And of course I can be in bare feet more time, cause there is warm winter in Barcelona. But I must accustom to hot pavement.. =)

So start with the most important words : descalzo...

Jokes aside...I'm italian and for work some time I had tried to spoked with spanish people,is a common ideas that spanish is very similar to italian, but is not true,is easily to understand only for some few words, but otherwise I prefer english...

Hi Polina,
What great news! Barcelona is well connected with Madrid and I travel there frequently. So I will be happy to meet us and make us those photos!
In Barcelona you will not have trouble connecting to internet.
Greetings!

Ok, boys, so I must learn English too, not just Spanish =)
Any way, soon you will be nearer to me =)

Hola Cecilia =)
I’ve never been in Barcelona, but I’ve been in Alicante and went from there to Madrid by bus. So from Barcelona to Madrid there are buses and trains, and airplanes too? =)
I loved Madrid – very beautiful and interesting town! I wanna go there again some day, cause I walked there just 2 days.
I even have barefoot photos in Madrid in my old updates on city-feet =)
