Though the wet asphalt was really cold that winter day, Alenka was walking without shoes. Even wearing a warm coat on, she was shivering with cold. If you think, that the marbel floor of the undergroung is quite warm for winter barefooting, you are not right - the dirty mass of melted snow and salt is very burning for tender soles.
