Barefoot girls in Turkey

First I would like to say, that we put all the 4 days' journey into one update. And of course, the main term of the Barefoot Voyage was fulfilled - the girls were barefoot during all the journey. Now, enjoy Helena's story about their advantured in Turkey:

'My first day in Turkey by Helen V.

I woke up = ah! = too early, at 6.30 am, which is practically the middle of the night for me, put on a heavy load of winter clothes and my
grinders-version boots they call 'shit-tramplers'. The taxi was waiting, and me and my new friend Helen G. headed to the airport. I could hardly believe we would be in Antalya, Turkey, on the same afternoon, in fact, I
could hardly imagine, after the severe winter we've had this year, that there were things like summer, green grass and happy barefooting...'

Barefoot shopping. Part 4.

After a tiresome barefoot ahoping Julia found a bench outside the trade center. she rested on it and gave a rest to her feet. The soles became dark with dust and Julia showed her dirty soles to our camera. The photographer took a chance to make excellent close-up pics immediately. Afret the short rest Julia was ready for the further trip and went along the path, stepping with her bare feet on the hard ground.

Alenka's first barefoot experience. Part 1.

Is is very interesting every time to see the first barefoot experiences of the girls. This day was Alenka's first barefoot experience. Just have a look, how carefully she tried to step on sharp gravel and how thoroughly she rubbed little pebble off her soles. Her soft skin on heels step by step became hard and dark. The only place, where Alenka could give rest for her feet was soft glass.

First time with bare soles on snow. Part 3.

This set is a pretty example of snow foot show. The girls stopped on a plane snowy surface to show their frozen feet to the camera. The photographer made excellent close-up shots of the girls' heels, red with cold and their pretty frozen toes. Their light-red toenail seemed the same colour as their cold toes.

Julia went to the trade center without her shoes on. Her feet were already dusty. The cool marble floors of the trade center made Julia's feet calm after the sharp asphalt. People in the trade center looked at a barefoot girl with interest. Ant Julia answered their glances with a smile, showing off her pretty feet without any shyness.
